I began making pots in high school in 1972. My teacher, John Petropolis remains one of the important influences on my life.

In 2019 I retired from teaching, mostly biology but also ceramics as well. Covid provided the opportunity for converting our barn on the old Stockburger and Pierce farm in Jamaica Vermont into a pottery studio.
